Sony Alpha DSLR-A390 and DSLR-A290 Entry-level Digital SLR Camera Specifications, Reviews and Prices


Sony showcased its new Digital Cameras – Sony Alpha DSLR-A390 and Sony Alpha DSLR-A290. Both these Sony Alpha series are its latest entry-level digital SLR range. The company prefer these cameras for the first time DSLR camera users and i also thinks that it will perfectly suit them as these are affordable and one with better features in its range.

Sony designed these Alpha DSLR-A390 and Alpha DSLR-A290 entry-level DSLR cameras with a better revised button layout for comfortable handling and compact, stylish body with new grip design. While coming to the Specification details, both the DSLR cameras sports 14.2 megapixels image sensor and is also equipped with BRAVIA Sync, image-sensor shift mechanism, SteadyShot image stabilization system, HDMI output, USB 2.0 connector, 40-segment honeycomb-pattern SPC exposure system, and built-in Flash. Sony Alpha A390 and Alpha A290 dSLR Cameras features a 2.7-inch LCD screen with a tilt and swivel screen.


Sony Alpha A390 DSLR measures 128.1 x 97.1 x 83.5mm and weighs 549g while the Alpha A290 mesures about 128.1 x 97.1 x 79.6mm and weight 508g. Both these Sony Entry Level DSLR cameras will be released by summer 2010.
